Pickleball Intro & Practice
Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It is played on a badminton-size court and a slightly modified tennis net using a paddle and a plastic ball with holes. It can be enjoyed by all ages and skill level, is fun, social and friendly. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Come and join us to help one another improve our pickleball skills!
Hand and Foot Card Game
Hand & Foot is a card game similar to Canasta, in which each player is dealt two sets of cards, the "Hand" and the "Foot". In this class students are taught the basic rules of the game and enjoy playing with other members and we appreciate your contributions for keeping our games running smoothly. We look forward to seeing you each week and thank you for being a valued part of our Pinochle community.
Pinochle-Double Deck
We invite you to join us for our year-round double deck Pinochle games, starting at noon every Monday. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy friendly competition. Please arrive early, between 11 and 11:30 am, so we can enjoy lunch together before the games begin. Since we do not pay a fee to use the back room, participants are kindly asked to purchase lunch each week. Groups will be formed at the discretion of the facilitator or instructor, and mixing with different players ensures everyone gets to know each other and fosters a welcoming community. Once a month we will draw cards to really mix up tables and participants. A $3 donation is collected each semester to help us buy new playing cards, and we appreciate your contributions for keeping our games running smoothly. We look forward to seeing you each week and thank you for being a valued part of our Pinochle community.
