Everyone Can Draw
This is a 4 part multi session Class! For the person who always wanted to draw or improve the skills they have. Several different mediums will be introduced including, watercolor, pastels, and color pencil, ink. Papers and pens will be supplied, bring regular #2 pencils, a sharpener and a “simple box” of color pencils (Crayola brand works.) Each class you will go home with a completed drawing while learning several new tools and techniques to make drawing easy and fun. You just might surprise yourself. Class will meet on Thursdays, April 2, 9,16 & 23. Fee: $5
AHA BLS Provider CPR- Refresher
This course is intended for individuals who have a current AHA BLS card who need recertification. Must have a current AHA BLS CPR card. If you do not have current card, please sign up for one of our AHA BLS CPR classes.
Riding Instruction III
Are you a confident rider? Have you taken the Riding Instruction I and II classes, but want to learn more? Here’s your chance to explore advanced western riding techniques. The discussion will include improving your horse’s body control, stops, pivots, and leads, as well as learning several roll maneuvers. Minimum Age is 18. Bring your own horse or use a program horse for an additional $10 per class session. Call Workforce Training 208-282-3372, to make arrangements for a horse (limited availability).

Chinese Cuisine is famous around the world. The following sections will introduce a variety of dishes that may enhance your understanding of Chinese food. If you are interested in tasting authentic Chinese food and/or learning how to cook these dishes, these classes are for you!! Must be 18+ to attend.
Sound Bath Music Bowls
Phil Dugas has been engaged in sound healing therapy for over 15 years. While in India he experienced a physical injury and discovered the healing power of sound bowls, which healed his injury instantly. This experience led him to become a Certified Sound Bowl Practitioner. He shares these powerful healing vibrations weekly in Lava Hot Springs and works with Hospice supporting people confronting mortality. Along with quartz crystal and metal sound gongs, this combination affects different energy, which respond to specific tone vibrations. Sound Bowl Therapy is an ancient technology used to make a difference in emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. Bring a mat if you have one, some mats are available. AHA Heartcode BLS Provider CPR - Online Blended Learning
Heartcode BLS Provider CPR is an online blended learning course option ideal for students recertifying or with a previous CPR background. Students will be emailed a ‘key’ to access the online course. After completing the online portion, students attend a structured BLS Hands-On Session with an AHA Instructor. Students will need to present the course certificate to the instructor at the two-hour hands-on session. Hands-on Session: 2 Hours Fee: $65 (includes an online course, hands-on session with AHA instructor, and certification card) The online portion must be completed and the student will need to present the course certificate to the instructor at the two-hour hands-on session. Important Information: Students will be sent an email within 2 business days of enrollment with instructions for accessing and completing the online portion of the course. To allow time to complete the online component prior to the in-person session, the deadline for enrollment in this course is 3 business days before the in-person session. Students who withdraw from the course after the online access instructions are mailed out may only receive a refund minus the cost of the online component, which is $34. Online learning portion of class: 3 Hours, Hands-on Session: 2.5 Hours
HWE - RV Camping email list
We are beginning our camping together this year on May 26-29 at Stoddard Creek Campground! Stay 1 to 3 nights. City of Rocks in June. On July 13-18 we will enjoy the beautiful Island Park Scout Camp. August 25-28 we have reserved Buttermilk campground in Island Park. In September we will admire the fall leaves from the Gros Ventre campground. Please sign up so we can have an email list to let you know about details for the planned campouts. We will have a planning Luncheon in May.

AHA BLS Provider CPR
This class teaches everything necessary to administer CPR in healthcare settings such as assessment of breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, infants, and children with one-and-two rescuer CPR; adult and pediatric obstructed airway management; AED; and mouth-to-mouth ventilation. Approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) and taught by AHA certified instructors. This class does not offer First Aid training. If you are interested in First Aid training click here.
