Visit: Friends for Learning - Idaho Falls

I was born at the LDS hospital in Idaho Falls. My parents are Marjorie and Merrill Albertson. We moved from Idaho Falls to Paul, Idaho, where my father farmed. There were nine children. I came in at number seven. It was fun to use one’s imagination when playing - everything from tea parties, building forts in haystacks, making “mud pies” and anything else we could think of. As I got older I learned to work first in the garden and then in the fields. After I graduated from Minico High School, I attended Cosmetology classes and became a cosmetologist.

I am on the Festival of Tree’s Board, Election Board, President of Friends for Learning, and am privileged to help with the annual Progressive Dinner. Life is good! I guess what most people wouldn’t know about me is that I love to learn. I have a real thirst for knowledge. No, that doesn’t mean that I am smart! Just that I enjoy learning. If I could be anyone for a day…Georgia O’Keeffe or any other of the great artists.
