Volcanoes and Caves, Gem Valley/Soda Springs Area (Part 1)

Idaho has some of the most diverse geology of any state in the country. Come learn about some of the geologic features in and around Gem Valley, from volcanoes to lava tubes created by those volcanoes, to limestone caves and natural carbonated water. This class will be a learning experience of geologic time, past volcanic activity in our area, lava tubes, groundwater, and limestone caves.
