Printing the Bible in English required sacrifice. This class will discuss the history of the first English Bibles and will discuss the revolutionary impact of printing. Copies of early Bibles will be displayed. In addition, Mary Jane Fritzen will introduce Alexander Cruden (1699-1770), who compiled a concordance printed in 1737 that is still in print.
