The delightful book by Harry Allrad and James Marshall has been adapted into a play that will come to life in Theatre ISU’s Readers Theatre presentation of Miss Nelson Is Missing.  Director, Dr. Sherri Dienstfrey-Swanson, will give us background information concerning this quirky classic, first published in 1977 and still relevant today. The students in Miss Nelson’s classroom were misbehaving again: spitballs stuck to the ceiling, paper planes whizzing through the air, and no one listening or learning from the teacher.  They were the worst-behaved class in the whole school. Themes covered are respect, kindness, teamwork, fairness, and responsibility.  Play dates: January 29, 30
