Online Video Production for Clicks and Views
Want to attract and hold an audience for your YouTube videos, TikToks, or Facebook reels? Learn the secrets of visual storytelling in a series of short, fun, and easy video assignments! Amateur videographers and more advanced visual artists will benefit from practicing their story-telling skills in this nonverbal video production course intended for online video creators. We will play with shot composition (background, mid-ground, foreground along the Z-axis), moving camera, subjective camera, split screen, montage, and more. You will receive constructive feedback (and may even win a miniature “Oscar” statuette!) that will motivate you to take your videos to the next level. Students will use their own equipment (which can be any type of camera, even a cell phone camera). To see examples of work done in this course, go to https://sutelevision.blogspot.com/
Note: to improve video editing skills, this course can be taken at the same time as the Video Editing Crash Course. But it is not required to take both courses.
