Our adventure begins with our first major stop at Deer Lodge, Montana. Following lunch, we will tour the Old Montana Prison Complex: the Territorial Prison, Vintage Car Museum, and Yesterday’s Playthings. We will continue on to Cataldo Mission, the oldest standing building in Idaho. We will spend the night in Coeur d’Alene.
Day 2: we will travel to Kellogg for a scenic ride in North America’s longest gondola (3.1 miles). The adventure continues to the Museum at the Brig in Farragut State Park by Lake Pend Oreille. It was once a World War II training center. We will end our day with a dinner cruise on Coeur d’Alene Lake.
Day 3: After breakfast we will visit Cataldo Mission, the oldest standing building in Idaho. We will then travel back to Pocatello (estimated arrival 6:00 p.m.).
