Eastern Idaho Public Health’s naloxone training is an education training focuses on what naloxone is, the laws in Idaho around naloxone usage, how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose, and community resources. Naloxone is a medication that can help to reverse and opioid overdose. This training is open to all community members, especially those taking prescription opioids, individuals who know someone taking prescription opioids and/or using illicit opioids, or individuals who have a reason to encounter an opioid overdose.
