Mosaic Flower Pot

(Ages 10 – 15 with a parent)

Have some warm weather fun making your own mosaiced flower pot. Using purchased terra cotta pots, we will create our own designs by gluing bits of colored glass to our pot, after allowing them to dry for a week we will grout. In the final week, any sharp points will be ground off and the piece will be sealed. Come prepared with a design on your 4-inch terra-cotta pot, or make one up as you go along. Be sure and wear shoes and socks to protect your feet from glass slivers and, of course, bring your safety glasses. Student must supply their own 4-inch terra-cotta pot.
