Learn about the nonprofit group which sends dresses and shorts to world youth.  Make dresses from pillowcases which are sent all over the world.  Read about it and littledressesforafrica.org and be inspired. Materials will be supplied.  Donations of a cotton blend pillowcase or fabric that size, extra wide double fold bias tape, quarter inch elastic, lace, etc. are welcome.  Bring a sewing machine if you have one.  Volunteers who do not sew are helpful to iron, pull elastic through cases, trim and donate supplies and cash for shipping.  Making dresses is a wonderful, inexpensive rewarding activity for those who would like to contribute to needy youth of the world.
