Most of what we see and hear on the news regarding the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are filtered through a paradigm adopted for societal norms for public consumption and are wrong. In order for people to make well informed decisions, the history leading up to the invasions as well as how the wars were executed and consequences subsequent to the conflicts, it is important to know what happened and why. Although news stories and history books usually cover topics which reflect actual events, the implications of such events and the stories from the front lines very rarely reflect relevant facts of what happened. In order to clear the fog of war and bring to light events and implications for the American people, I have compiled a presentation of what happened in Iraq and Afghanistan and why I believe it is important to know what really happened.
