The Irish Revolution, 1913-1923: Politics, Violence, and Environment

This class will explore the origins, phases, and consequences of the Irish Revolution. It will specifically focus on the 1916 Easter Rising, the Irish War of Independence, and the Irish Civil War, drawing on the instructor’s recently published book, Enduring Ruin: Environmental Destruction During the Irish Revolution.
