Introduction to Continuous Improvement and 5S Bootcamp

In today’s competitive environment, companies are fueling growth through leaner operations that focus on adding value to the customer. Adopting lean practices reduces costs, increases quality, and improves efficiency by establishing an environment of Continuous Improvement.

This 2-day course gives a comprehensive overview of Continuous Improvement of the 8 Wastes of Lean and 5S, Workplace Organization. The classroom sessions are a combination of discussion and applied simulations. Participants will begin implementing what they learn in session 1 by conducting a Waste Walk and a 5S project at their place of work. Session 2 will start with a homework report-out and then participants will learn how to sustain the improvements they made.
