Inkle weaving is simple, fast, portable and fun. The term “Inkle” simply means “ribbon” or “tape”. Inkle weaving is commonly used for narrow work such as trims, straps, and belts. Inkle band can be used for shoe laces, guitar, camera, or bag straps, belts, dog collars, and many other projects. Beginner students will receive a basic knowledge about inkle loom and basic tools using for band weaving. They will learn how to set up and warp the loom and weave a simple band. Students will learn a few basic patterns and will be able to choose from a variety of colors for their first project.  All class materials will be provided by the instructor.
