HAZWOPER - Hazardous Waste Operations

HAZWOPER stands for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response and is required for any employees who are exposed to hazardous substances and who are engaged in several operations including clean-up, treatment, storage and disposal of hazardous waste.. This course will prepare individuals per the requirements of  29CFR 1910.120 (e)(5) .

The students will need "The Emergency Response Guidebook, 2020 edition" and the "NIOSH Pocket Guide to Chemical Hazards". They can be purchased at the campus bookstore $30 for both.
