This class covers the basics of recognizing and preventing heat stress in industry. This includes an overview of the hazards of heat stress, identification of risk factors, danger signs, symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, a look at employee responsibility in preventing heat stroke, and the first-aid procedures for heat stroke.

This class covers the basics of how to identify heat cramps, heat rash, heat collapse, and heat fatigue. This presentation also includes how to minimize the risks when working in a hot environment.
