The purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of the importance of health literacy. As a Community Health Worker, it is important to understand some of the risk factors your patients may have and address the barriers that your patients face.
Health literacy is an important topic to learn because it can help patients prevent health problems and protect their health, as well as better manage those problems and unexpected situations that can occur.
<>Students are encouraged to complete this module within two weeks. HSM access is for six months. A Certificate of Completion can be printed after successful completion of the course.
