The purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of the importance of health literacy. As a Community Health Worker, it is important to understand some of the risk factors your patients may have and address the barriers that your patients face.
Health literacy is an important topic to learn because it can help patients prevent health problems and protect their health, as well as better manage those problems and unexpected situations that can occur.
This course closes two weeks after it is first accessed by the student. Certificate of Completion can be printed after successful completion of the course.
