Come learn about eastern Idaho’s first organic, urban farm, where we "grow for community." Our commitment is to grow nutrient-dense, delicious food for families in need, food-insecure and other people; teach about sustainable food gardening skills and the environment; and build a thriving public green space that welcomes all ages, including seniors, people with disabilities, and youth.

On our 1-acre farm we have bee hives, pollinator habitat, fruit trees, closed-vessel composting, and soil carbon farming. Our high tunnels allow us to harvest in every month of the year.

The in-class presentation will be 1 hour, followed by a tour at Happyville Community Farm at 640 S Saturn Ave.

Optional field trip is limited to 15 people.
