In this class, students with basic sewing skills will learn important sewing techniques while making a nightshirt or pajamas.  The nightshirt/PJ pattern was chosen because it will fit almost anyone, and options for men, women, and children are available.  In addition to improving pattern-reading skills, students will learn to sew in sleeves, attach a patch pocket, front button closing, and more.

The pattern is provided; students must provide fabric and thread.  They must also provide a sewing machine in good working order and sewing tools, or they may rent them from the instructor for $45 by making arrangements at least 48 hours before the first class.  A materials and tools list will be available when you register.
