Fieldtrip to EBR1

Description Registration

In addition to being the world's first nuclear power plant, in 1953, EBR-I confirmed that a breeder reactor could produce more fuel than it consumed … and make electricity at the same time. Come learn how nuclear pioneers made history with 4 lightbulbs at what is now a Registered National Historic Landmark.

The museum is located 50 miles west of Idaho Falls on Highway 20.
