Family Planning (HSM)
Description
Registration
As a Community Health Worker, it is important to be able to effectively answer questions and support patients’ decisions about when, or if, they would like to have children. Family Planning is a difficult topic, with many topics being emotionally charged. As such, it is the intent of the course to prepare you for discussing the information contained, while allowing you to remain mindful of the importance of providing services to patients in a professional, socially and culturally competent manner.
Students are encouraged to complete this module within two weeks. HSM access is for six months. A Certificate of Completion can be printed after successful completion of the course.
