Fall Protection

This class will cover the basic principles of fall protection including the proper use of anchorage connectors, body harnesses, lanyards, self-retracting lifelines and horizontal lifelines. A discussion of the new developments in fall protection including the updated ANSI Z359 standard will take place.

 

This class will also detail the proper inspection of fall protection equipment. A live demonstration of a fall will take place and rescue devices will be demonstrated.

 

This new online series is made possible by the Susan Harwood Training Grant Program.
