As our population ages, dementia (including Alzheimer’s) is increasing exponentially. Whether a direct care worker, family or friend, caring for a person experiencing dementia can be frustrating and has many consequences. What is normal and what isn’t? What is the best way to respond to gain cooperation and maintain the dignity of the person while reducing caregiver stress and frustration? This course answers these questions and many more.

Intended audience: Any direct care professional, family or friends working with and interacting with people with Alzheimer’s and related dementia’s on a regular basis.
