Amateur radio appeals to a wide variety of interests such as communications contests, meeting new people in distant places, emergency and public service communications, learning electronics, building equipment, and more.  This class will guide you as you get started in the Amateur Radio hobby and prepare you to acquire your ham radio license.

NOTE: This class IS NOT required to obtain an FCC Amateur Radio License, nor does it guarantee the issuance of an amateur radio license by the FCC. 

FCC license testing and fees are governed by the FCC. Testing will be provided at the conclusion of the class under FCC rules and regulations. Additional fees (Approx. $49) will apply.
