What is Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeship is an occupational training that combines on-the-job experience with classroom instruction. Apprentices usually begin at half the salary of journeymen - those who have completed their training and have industry certification.

Apprentices receive pay increases as they learn to perform more complex tasks. When they become journeymen, they increase their chances of entering a well-paid job industry and may become supervisors or go into business for themselves. A Degree Program is also offered.
