Introduction to Instrumentation and Process Control

This course provides a practical introduction to instrumentation and process control. Designed for people working in industry, it covers the basics of common instruments, how control loops work, simple troubleshooting steps, an introduction to calibration, and how to read basic process diagrams. Participants will build a clearer understanding of how these systems are used in industrial settings and how to identify common problems. Students should have some previous exposure to industrial processes and a basic understanding of electricity and test equipment before enrolling in this course.
