SECTION 1 – Traditional Still Life
In our beginner oil painting class, students will learn the timeless art of still life painting, mastering foundational techniques and understanding the properties of oil paints. Learn to capture the nuances of light, shadow, and form as they bring everyday objects to life on canvas. By the end of the course, students will have created their own still life master-piece, showcasing their newfound skills and artistic vision. All materials will be provided!
SECTION 2 –Portraits
Explore the timeless art of portrait painting through this beginner course! From brush techniques to color mixing, students will learn how to capture emotion, expression, light, and shadow through paint. By the course’s conclusion, participants will have crafted a personal portrait or figure painting, showcasing their blossoming talents and technical ability. All materials will be provided!
Students must be 18+ or 16+ with parent/guardian
