As coordinator of Idaho State University’s Cyber Physical Systems Security progam, Sean McBride prepares industrial technicians to defend computer systems that operate electric generating stations, oil refineries, and manufacturing facilities.Before joining ISU, Sean pioneered the multidisciplinary field of threat and vulnerability intelligence for industrial environments. At the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) he instituted and led the vulnerability analysis and situational awareness reporting elements foundational to the DHS ICS-CERT. In 2009 he co-founded Critical Intelligence to help organizations that own and operate critical infrastructure to understand threats to the industrial processes they operate. His company was acquired by iSIGHT partners in 2015. After iSIGHT's incorporation into FireEye, Sean developed FireEye's ICS security business strategy.

Online registration will remain open until a week before the start date to allow for supplies to be on site. Please call our office at (208) 282-3372 after that time for available options.
$25 early Drop-off (7:30-8:00a) and $25 Late Pickup (5:00-5:30p) are available options each week.
AM camp pickup at 12:15p (After Lunch). PM Camp drop-off at 12:15p (for Lunch).
Students entering grades 6th through 8th in the fall are eligible to register for the middle school camps. Students entering grades 9th through 12th in the fall are eligible to register for the high school camps.

Students receive hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, sensors/transmitters, calibrators, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and more – helping students understand not just how industrial control systems work, but how OT professionals view the world. Presented against a light backdrop of cybersecurity, it is an ideal course for security analysts, intelligence analysts, cybersecurity managers, and IT professionals.
