Ongoing roadside cleanup projects for the City of Pocatello (May 9, 23) and Bannock County (May 16). Bring your own gloves, drinking water, and a small pack for extra bags; instructor provides bags and bright orange vests; another organization loans us pick-up sticks.

SECTION 1 – Tuesday, May 9, 1–4 p.m.

Location: Climbers’ parking lot just south of Ross Park, on the east (cliff) side of So. 2nd Ave. There, we’ll distribute equipment and choose segments. We will clean from Fredregill Rd. to the former Cheyenne bridge, and the South Valley Road ramps.

SECTION 2 Tuesday, May 16, 1–4 p.m.

Location: CONED parking lot to carpool to So. Bannock Hwy. and Fort Hall Mine Rd., where we will work outward. Experienced litter-pickers may meet at site. We especially need helpers here.

SECTION 3 Tuesday, May 23, 1–4 p.m.

Location: CONED parking lot to clarify working area (alleys from 7th Ave. to 15th Ave. between Oak and Center Streets) and form teams.
