This course is for beginning fly anglers looking to expand their skills and catch fish in more diverse situations. We will be developing more familiarity with fly casting, including different methods for more diverse situations.  We will learn how to fish rivers and streams, as well as insect identification and how to “match the hatch.”

Students will need to bring their own rod, reel, and line, as well as a baseball cap or brimmed hat, sunglasses, and closed toe shoes.  Students are also encouraged to bring whatever flies or tackle they already have. Some of the classes will be held at diverse fishing locations near Pocatello, so you will need to provide your own transportation to the meeting sites.
