The promise of riches lured people west by the thousands. Prospectors and fortune hunters set up camps and constructed small towns and cities virtually overnight. But when the gold was gone, many towns were left deserted—one day a thriving community, the next a Ghost Town. A 20 minute video of Idaho Ghost Towns will be shown. Many of the mined treasures were lost during stagecoach holdups and hundreds of thousands of dollars remained buried. We will hear some of the tales from the past. Who knows—a fortune in a hidden cache may have your name on it!
