This informational class is intended to help refugees, immigrants, single parents, fist-generational college students and anyone looking for information on the college admissions process. Topics covered will include the difference between community colleges and universities, the college admission process, how to file for financial aid, networking skills, exploring employment opportunities, and work/life/school balance. This course is taught by an adjunct faculty for two universities.
Participants must be 16 years and older.
