Quick and Easy Website Building

Build a website for yourself or your business—don’t let competitors take your customers because they are online and you aren’t. This course helps you develop your site concept and gives you the hands-on skill experience to make it a reality. You won’t need any special, over-priced software, coding or technical skills to build this website because we'll use WordPress, a free application. During this workshop you’ll build a great looking website that is easy to update, use, and secure. You will also learn the secrets of how to change the look and feel of your website; add content pages and posts, pictures, video and more; how to optimize your content for the search engines; and hyperlink pages on your site.

Prerequisites: Ability to navigate the internet quickly and accurately. Must be comfortable with technology and have a c-Panel hosting provider. (Check cetrain.isu.edu/handout for more information on getting a hosting provider.)
