Online Self-Paced PLC Course

Description Registration

This online program introduces the theory behind Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), while maintaining an emphasis on the application of PLCs in plant and manufacturing systems.  The material integrated into this program is based on the Rockwell MicroLogix 1000 and PLC control software.  The PLC program extends coverage into advanced PLC topics and related ladder logic programming, facilitated by the use of the advanced PLC systems.  The PLC online program is a self-paced computer-based program that allows the student to work and complete the program at a comfortable pace.

The program is divided into 15 modules; each containing text, animations, mini audio lectures, illustrations, review questions, lab projects and practice exams.  Students in the program will receive a lab kit containing a PLC and related hardware and software. The lab kit requires a deposit of $250, which will be refunded upon return of the lab kit. The course was developed by industry experts and provides a unique opportunity to learn about Programmable Logic Controllers. The course offers weekly technical support sessions for any questions that may arise during the course.

Support: 8/30/17 & must be finished by 11/30/17
