UAS flight theory is a course designed for the average individual who wants to understand the basic fundamentals of flight. The course also introduces the students to the FAA rules and regulations associated with 14 CFR part 107. If you are going to fly drones or UAV’s for hire, the
FAA has mandated that you get your 14 CFR Part 107 pilot certificate or if you are already a pilot then you can take a test to get the 107 certificate added to your license. Also covered in the course is brief overview of FAA national airspace regulations and basic procedures to maintain safe flight operations within the limitations of different classes of airspace.
