Are you consdering installing solar energy? This course serves as the starting point for anyone considering the installation of a solar energy project. Learn the steps to determine the efficiency of your photovoltaic panels or solar thermal collector at specific locations. A discussion of the characteristics of the solar resource (irradiance, insulation, etc.) is included, as well as three examples of site assessments. These will reinforce your ability to analyze your specific project location. This course was developed by state certified instructors.
