Need a snack with your cup of coffee, a fruit and nut bar to keep your energy steady during a hike or just a decadent treat?  Raw desserts can do it all, and all you must do is dress it up or dress it down.

They are never heated above 42 degrees C (115 degrees F) to maintain the nutritional quality of the vitamins, minerals, proteins in their most natural form.  You will learn how to choose ingredients and how to prepare and store raw, nut based desserts.  After this hands-on class each student will go home with almond-date bars and energy bites.  At the end of the class, there will be a raw dessert tasting.
