The Kelton ramp was built during the Civil War and allowed access from the lava terraces above Boise to the Boise River below. During this exploration of the area, you'll see the ruts that emigrant wagons etched permanently into the ground and learn how the ramp was used to transport freight from Kelton, UT to Boise. Trails available to walk the ruts and the ramp.
