Fire Extinguisher Operations

Description Registration

In this presentation, trainees will be taught to identify the different classes of fires. Students will learn why using the correct class of fire extinguisher is safer for them and/or more effective at putting out certain fires and describe limitations of the different classes of extinguishers. At the conclusion of this training, participants will be able to define a fire, describe the four essential elements needed for combustion, and identify how common types of extinguishers attack a fire.
