For over 30 years the Bellon Visiting Author Series has been bringing nationally recognized published authors and illustrators of children’s books to our community. This year's author, S.D. Nelson, is also an artist and illustrator. As a member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Nelson has often used his people's culture as inspiration for his work. Our presentation will introduce some of his award-winning children's books.
Nelson will give public lectures
March 6, 4–5 p.m.,Marshall Public Library;
March 7, 7–8 p.m.,ISU College of Ed. Auditorium;
March 8, 4–5 p.m.,Portneuf District Library.
Books will be available for purchase and autographing at each location.
