After participants view the film Swimming to Cambodia, Dr. Sivitiz will lead a discussion on the intersection of narrative, war, and entertainment. The film recounts Spalding Gray’s experiences during the filming of the movie The Killing Fields. Gray also tells of the recent history of Cambodia and of his attempt to have “The Perfect Moment.”
