NOLS Wilderness First Aid

Whether adventuring into the back country with family and friends or on the job, this course is for you!  In this fast-paced, hands-on course, you will learn traditional first aid plus essential skills needed by anyone who spends a lot of time in the outdoors – where you can't simply dial 911. The course, is taught by Wilderness Medicine Institute-approved instructors who mix their medical experience with a passion for the outdoors. It is ideal for trip leaders, camp staff, outdoor enthusiasts and any individual who regularly venture into remote locations! There are no pre-requisites. The course is approved by the American Camping Association and the United States Forestry Service. This course does not include CPR. Important information: The course is 7 miles outside Pocatello (map provided with registration). Come prepared for any type of weather as the course has both indoor and outdoor activities. Don't forget sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring water, snacks, and a sack lunch.
