In this hands-on-2-hour workshop, students will learn how to mend clothing by hand. By the end of the class, students will be able to sew a running stitch, blind and hem stitch as well as sewing on 4 kinds of buttons and applying iron on patches.
Tools and materials needed for the class
- Scissors, seam ripper, thread, thimble
- Regular all-purpose thread
- Heavy thread for buttons
- Irons
- Iron-on patches, tapes, etc.
