Students in this class will tour the Idahoan Foods potato processing plant. Idahoan® Foods was started in 1960 with the single-minded goal of producing the planet’s best tasting instant mashed potatoes from the famous Idaho Russets. Today the company employs nearly 500 people during the production season and is one of the world’s leading producers of dehydrated potatoes. We will meet at the Fred Meyers parking lot at 9:15 a.m. and carpool to Idahoan Foods. Only 10 students will be enrolled in this class.
