This four-week course is for healthcare professionals (CNA, nursing, therapist, etc) to help understand dementia, learn behaviors associated with it, acquire tools to implement in practice, and demonstrate the ability to use the tools.
The goals of the course are to improve the quality of life of persons living with Alzheimer’s and related dementia’s, decrease caregiver burden/stress, and increase awareness of dementia.
After successful completion of the course, participants will receive contact hours and a course completion certificate.
