"Carved in Stone" is a class on the history of cemeteries from the early beginnings inside churches to present-day memorial gardens. Discussion will include the symbolism found on markers and monuments in cemeteries, the meanings of the various symbols, fraternal organizations, religions and even humor. This is done using hundreds of photos David has taken in thousands of cemeteries throughout the world.
