Becky Hansis-O’Neil, education director for the Idaho Museum of Natural History, will lead us in strategies for bird watching: time of year, migration patterns, creating bird-friendly habitat, and identification. She suggests The Sibley Guide to Birds—Western Species for anyone interested in purchasing a guide for bird identification.

Tuesday class will be a lecture

Wednesday will be a  field trip to Cherry Springs.

Wear comfortable shoes for field trip, as we will be walking on somewhat uneven paved paths.
