Please login or create a new profile to be notified when a new section becomes available.

Learn basic horsemanship skills. Each session begins with an informative equine-related lecture and continues with horse handling skills, riding techniques and instruction. The class is perfect for those interested in learning different aspects of horsemanship - a better understanding of horses enables you to become a better rider.

It is perfect if you are a new horse owner, thinking of getting a horse, or even for a horse owner who realizes there is always something more to be learned about horses. Some of the topics include horse behavior and psychology, equipment types and fit, and horse health and first aid. Lessons will be western. Bring your own horse or use a program horse for an additional $10 per class session. Call Workforce Training 208-282-3372, to make arrangements for a horse (limited availability).

Minimum Age is 18.
